As for the vehicles, while the buses are customized with LEDs, the cars were purchased from China. The LEDs in the cars a very bright despite there miniscule size (1.8mm). This causes light flaring and bleeding through the plastic bodies. So the bodies are separated from the undercarriage and the interiors are painted with flat black paint. Then where light still shone through, the exterior paint is been touched up. And lastly the perimeter of the lights are painted to make the lenses look smaller and more to scale.
