27th Annual Model Train Show

The holidays bring all kinds of exciting events to the Grand Valley, and one annual event rolled into town this weekend.
The Grand Valley Model Railroad Club opened its doors to the public for their annual Christmas model train show.
For the 27th year in a row, people of all ages had a chance to peak at the intricate scales created by the local club, which they have been hard at work on for 11 years.
According to club members, this is an event they look forward to each year, as everyone is always excited to experience their passion for trains.
“These days, I mean, you have all these grandparents coming in with their grand kids and just having a good time,” says Terry Berg, the club’s president.
This event will continue from 10 AM until 4 PM each weekend through the first week of the new year and is located at Cross Orchards Historic Site.
