This HO Scale Model Train Layout video came from one of my customers named Steve Knudsen. He is a beginner that is helping his friend get his trains set up and running after the project was halted due to a stroke that his friend suffered. He has completed the base, hills and laid a lot of track.
“With the curves, hills, and track connections on curves, we have issues with train derailments and voltage shorts. I got it now so the one track is usable all the way around going in one directions. The other one needs work.”
The other issue is he bought a used locomotive (70’s vintage Red Burlington model 164, made by Bachmann). It stops on what appears to be voltage breaks, but the other engine works fine.
He thinks he found a problem with the brass connections over/on the wheels not always touching the metal on the bottom of the locomotive but he hasn’t tested it.
