Model Train Rock Formation Technique

This is an amazing technique to create modeling mountains with a bit of foam, some painter’s caulk and some brown shades of acrylic paint. In order to create mountains, just stack the foam boards up and glue them together and then get busy with your knife – that’s all there really is to it. Cutting the foam is easy. You might hear some folk go on about using hot wire cutters. However, old bread knife does the job a treat. Paint the rocks a light tan. Than dab on a darker brown to give it depth.
