Here are some exclusive photos on a very large model railroad exhibition in HO scale. This layout presents the German history of railways from the beginning of the 20th century to modern times. In the beginning of railroad history there were steam locomotives. Later these were replaced by diesel locomotives. Today, electric locomotives and high-speed trains like the famous ICE are in use. Each period is represented with its inherent locomotives and architecture on the four model train layouts. Despite the enormous size of the layout nothing is digitally controlled. An analog control technology is used, namely the speed controller of the Gebhardt company from Germany. It’s noticeable that all the locomotives go very smoothly and evenly. They were converted and optimized with special model train motors by Faulhaber company from Germany. In addition, the trains have the correct length. Enjoy these photos and get inspiration for your own model train layout.
